A classic Fender tonewood known for resonance, punch and clarity, alder has a balanced and lively tone with beefy mids and a robust low-end.
MAPLE NECK WITH 7.25" RADIUS ROUND-LAMINATED ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD AND VINTAGE TALL FRETS
Round-laminated rosewood fingerboard adds warmth to the tone and the 7.25” radius fingerboard provides vintage comfort and feel, while vintage-tall frets provide slightly more height than vintage for big bends and wide vibrato.
MID-'60S "C" SHAPED NECK
This classic '60s shape is comfortably rounded and starts off slim at the nut, thickening moderately toward the 12th fret.

Mid '60s spec Jazzmaster pickups capture the essence of classic Fender single-coil tone with warm, woody character and smooth attack, delivering rich, full-bodied sound with the distinctive depth and clarity that made these offset guitars the choice of surf, pop and indie musicians.
