Inspired by the iconic designs of Fender electric guitars, California Player acoustics evoke the west coast spirit of adventure and freedom, inviting musicians to explore their individual creativity and disrupt the status quo.
Crafted with an X-braced solid spruce top and sapele back and sides, the Villager™ 12-string features a non-cutaway Newporter auditorium body shape which produces a versatile voice that's both articulate and powerful while offering a comfortable feel for hours of inspiration. The nato neck is designed with an easy-to-play slim "C"-shaped profile featuring graphite reinforcement rods for stability, a 24.75" scale length for comfortable tension, and a 1960s-inspired "hockey stick" headstock for a distinctive look born from Fender's acoustic heritage. Other notable details include vintage-style tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle for signature 12-string chime, and a Fishman® Flex preamp system that allows faithful reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when plugged into an amplifier or recording device. A deluxe gig bag is included.
